The title song for ‘Kari Chirathe’ was shot in a special set erected at a cost of Rs.8 lakhs near Minerva Mills. ‘My Name is Kari Chirathe…..resembling My name is Khan….song featuring Vijay, Yagna Shetty was captured by cameraman Veenus Murthy with 25 other co dancers under the choreography of Harsha.

Yagna Shetty has appeared in a song in this film. Sharmila Mandre is the main heroine of ‘Kari Chirathe’ that has already completed 25 days shoot in Mysore under the direction of Madesh. Madesh’s previous films ‘Gaja’ and ‘Ram’ were the super hits and both were remake films.

‘Kari Chirathe’ is about the frustration of a youth whose expectations in life turn sour. The protagonist Vijay bounces back in his own style and withstands the onslaught says director Madesh.

Sadhu Kokila has scored the music. Veenus Murthy is the man behind camera. Jai Jagdeesh, Rangayana Raghu, Sangeetha, Sudha Belawadi and others are in the cast.
